No. The BeepMate WordPress plugin communicates directly via the BeepMate API and does not use WordPress email or SMTP configuration at all.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account to receive WordPress form notifications?

No. BeepMate works with a regular WhatsApp account - no WhatsApp Business account or Meta approval is required.

Can WordPress form submissions be sent to a WhatsApp group?

Yes. Enter your BeepMate WhatsApp Group ID in the WhatsApp ID field instead of your personal phone number. Type the API command in the BeepMate bot to find your group ID.

Download the plugin

In WordPress admin menu, click Plugins ➡ Add New Plugin and search for BeepMate

Alternatively, you can install the plugin manually from the WordPress Plugin Directory here, and upload the files to the

/wp-content/plugins/beepmate

directory.

Activate the plugin

Activate the BeepMate plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.

Configure BeepMate plugin

Navigate to Settings ➡ BeepMate Forms to WhatsApp to configure the plugin:

BeepMate API Key: Get your API key by typing the API command in BeepMate's WhatsApp chat
WhatsApp ID: Your phone number without the + sign
Submit forms to WhatsApp: Make sure it is set to Enable plugin to receive notifications

Then click Save Changes.

That's it!

You're all set! Every time a visitor submits a form on your WordPress site - whether it's a contact form, lead form, or any other - the submission will be delivered to your WhatsApp instantly via BeepMate.
